Description
Observation Period and Transition to Inpatient Care
For patients who need further monitoring after their ER visit, they may be moved into observation status. This allows our medical team to evaluate their condition more thoroughly while continuing necessary treatment.
Observation stays are typically limited to 24 hours. If the patient’s condition requires further care beyond this time frame, they may need to be formally admitted as an inpatient to the hospital. This distinction is important for both medical reasons and insurance coverage purposes.
Our ER team ensures that every patient receives personalized, timely care, whether their visit concludes with discharge, observation, or admission to the hospital. Your health and peace of mind remain our top priorities at every stage of care.
Please also note, all emergency room claims require to be sent in two bills. This rate represents the facility charge, the second rate not shown would include the professional (medical provider) charges. For a list of these charges visit our ER provider charges.
